Chiang Mai, a city in the north of Thailand, can seem a little chaotic at times, especially during rush hour in the now well-developed city centre.

This one-day taste tour offers the chance to escape the hustle and bustle of city life and experience a more authentic side of Chiang Mai at a remote community situated on the highest mountain of Thailand, Doi Inthanon. Understand how the locals live, work and eat at this high altitude – sourcing fresh ingredients native to this part of the country. You’ll have the chance to listen to the many stories about how local ‘Lanna’ food is made, as well as cook up some delicious northern dishes of your own, all of which are very difficult to find anywhere else in the world.
