DAY ONE Bangkok – Sai Noi Ecotourism Village Community
AFTERNOON Assemble at the meeting point.

Travel to Sai Noi Ecotourism Village Community.

Arrive at the village, where you’ll be greeted with a welcome ceremony and chance to listen to the community’s history and itinerary for the next few days.

DAY TWO Sai Noi Ecotourism Village Community
MORNING Make offerings to the monks in front of the homestay.

Breakfast.

Star the morning’s learning activities, including:

– Taking a bike to explore the lifestyles and culture of Sai Noi community.

– Experiencing work as a corn farmer. Try picking and boiling waxy corn and about ‘gros michel’ bananas, known for their aromatic and sweet taste.

NOON Lunch.
AFTERNOON Enjoy learning activities:

– Learning how to cook 9 Auspicious Thai Desserts.

– Cooking up some Mi Krop (crispy rice noodles).

DAY THREE Sai Noi Ecotourism Village Community
MORNING Breakfast.

Morning learning activities include:

– Learning how to breed auspicious plants and lime trees.

– Paying respect to the sacred Buddha statue and exploring the Maha-Ut Ubosot, a historical site built during the Ayutthaya period.

NOON Enjoy a variety of dishes for lunch such as noodles, Som Tam (spicy salad) and Pad Thai.
AFTERNOON Go on a bike ride to learn about a unique massaging tool made from coconut shells.
EVENING Enjoy dinner and a performance from local youths.

DAY FOUR Sai Noi Ecotourism Village Community

DAY FIVE Sai Noi Ecotourism Village Community

– Exploring the local lifestyles of the area.

– Learning how to make herbal balm.

NOON Lunch.
AFTERNOON Travel to Wat Prasat Thong, the Muay Thai learning center established by descendants of Nai Khanom Tom, the legendary Muay Thai fighter of the Ayutthaya period who, as legend has it, defeated 9 Burmese boxers without a break. Learn about the art and ancient history of Muay Thai during the afternoon.
EVENING Dinner and leisure time for the rest of the evening.

DAY SIX Sai Noi Ecotourism Village Community – Wat Yai Chaimongkhon – Wat Phanan Choeng – Ayutthaya Elephant Camp – Wat Mahathat – Ayothaya Floating Market
MORNING Breakfast.

Head to Wat Yai Chaimongkhon.

Arrive at Wat Yai Chaimongkhon, one of the most historically significant and the most-visited temple in Ayutthaya. Wat Yai Chaimongkhon is well known for its outstanding architecture typical to the style of the Ayutthaya period. Admire the tallest pagoda in Ayutthaya and the palace of King Naresuan the Great.

Head to Wat Phanan Choeng.

Arrive at Wat Phanan Choeng, one of the oldest and another hugely significant temple in Ayutthaya. This temple is globally famous for its Buddha image called ‘Luang Phor To’ or ‘Sam Po Kong’, which is highly revered Thai and Chinese Buddhists.

NOON Lunch.
AFTERNOON Head to Ayutthaya Elephant Camp.

Arrive at the camp, which was formerly known as ‘Pang Chang Ayutthaya’ (the name was changed to bring about good luck). The camp is dedicated to preserving and breeding Thai elephants, and follows a standardized system of looking after the giant animals. It was also the first elephant camp in the world to start a successful elephant breeding program of a certain type, which you can learn all about – and see the results yourself with many baby elephants having been born here. Have fun feeding the elephants too.

Head to Wat Mahathat.

Arrive at Wat Mahathat. The most iconic feature of this temple is the ancient Buddha head nestled inside the winding tree roots. The head of this sandstone Buddha image is the only part left of the original statue, entwined in Bodhi tree roots close to the temple.

Head to Ayothaya Floating Market.

Arrive at Ayothaya Floating Market. The highlight of this floating market is the fact that each of the buildings and noteworthy spots were named after every Amphoes (districts) in Ayutthaya, which enables visitors to remember the names and local products of each one of Ayutthaya’s distinct areas.

Head back to Sai Noi Ecotourism Village Community.

DAY SEVEN Sai Noi Ecotourism Village Community – Ban Kong Por Sufficiency Economy Learning Center – Wat Phukhao Thong – Million Toy Museum by Krirk Yoonpun – Wat Chaiwatthanaram – Bangkok
MORNING Prepare to check out.

Breakfast.

Head to Ban Kong Por Sufficiency Economy Learning Center.

Arrive at the center, which is also known as ‘Bang Kong Por’. This learning center was established to provide knowledge about new agricultural theories and concepts for everyone, based on the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy of King Rama IX.

Visit Wat Phukhao Thong, a temple that was constructed during the reign of King Ramesuan in the early Ayutthaya period.

Head to Million Toy Museum by Krirk Yoonpun.

Explore the museum which displays high-quality toys from around the world, including old and modern toys, as well as Thai toys made from a variety of materials.

NOON Enjoy Ayutthaya boat noodles.
AFTERNOON Head to Wat Chaiwatthanaram.

Visit Wat Chaiwatthanaram, one of the most significant temples that played an important role in the history of ancient Siam – as well as one of the most stunning temples in Ayutthaya.

Head back to Bangkok via highway.

Arrive back in Bangkok to end the trip.
