PROGRAM DAY TRIP

DAY ONE
MORNING	Head for Khok Kong Phu Thai Culture Village, Kuchinarai, Kalasin. Welcome greeting by community leaders. Team building and workshops. Mak Beng Knockdown & Rebuild Divide into groups to learn how to make “Mak Beng” flower decorations to be used in ceremonies by disassembling and reassembling one of the pre-made decorations yourself. Khok Kong Performance This is the haute couture of Baan Khok Kong. Use Baan Khok Kong pha khao ma to design your own collection by cutting, binding, sewing, tying, wrapping and folding to make your clothes unique.
NOON	Time to try some seasonal food! During the rainy season, the Khok Kong villagers commonly cook with bamboo shoots and Kaeng nor mai (bamboo curry) is an excellent dish to sample. The bamboo shoots can also be roasted, peeled and boiled with Yanang leaves to make soup no mai (bamboo shoot soup) for eating with pla ra (fermented fish sauce). They also have false earthstar mushrooms that can be stir-fried, made into a soup or eaten with a dip and rattan is used in kaeng wai sai kai. As for the summer, the eggs of red ants are a popular ingredient in kaeng, koi or they can also be eaten raw. And Enjoy with Khok Kong Phu Thai Palaeng-style while watching traditional performances by Phu Thai youths.
AFTERNOON	Team building and workshops. Surviving Khok Kong Have fun with this hiking activity through the forest to forage for a list of items provided by the villagers. Create product marketing plans for the community Brainstorm thoughts and create some ideas to design marketing/sales plans for the products in the community. Have fun while designing the packaging while creating better brand awareness and story/sales and marketing strategies for products in the community. CSR/Team Building Activities Basic Infrastructure Development and Public Benefits Improvements in gazeboes and places for receiving tourists – Installation of signs for directions and establishments in the village – Construction of a Phu Thai-style arbor for protecting the Phu Thai statue at the village entrance against the sun and rain -Construction of a Baan Khok Kong community learning center – Painting of the village’s welcome and motto signs – Construction of seats for the back of I – taeks – Painting of the Phu Thai statue at the village entrance – Clearing the areas for new developments Development of Community Knowledge and Livelihoods – Creation of brands and increased local merchandise and product value – Training of guides and people to provide information about the community Improvements in Basic Infrastructure and Public Benefits for Schools in the Community – Painting and improvements in buildings and establishments; provision of educational aid and sports equipment for the Baan Khok Kong School and the Na Khrai Pracha San School. Donation of Funds and Necessary Equipment – Donation of bicycles to tourism groups – Donation of plastic chairs to tourism groups – Donation of a water tank for the community and construction of a high platform for placing the water tank.
EVENING	purchase community products as memorabilia before you go home.
